bits & pieces
Before moving to London to study almost three years ago I was told I would lose all of my friends back home as they all would start the new life and forget you in the old one. Well, if those people are truly your friends, they would never leave your side no matter how many miles you're apart. This is why I call myself lucky person - even though I have an incredible family to spend time with whenever I'm back home, my 5-months-old nephew (unfortunately, my sister-in-law has some prejudice and doesn't allow anyone to share his photos), who's already pretty funny dude, but all of my friends that I've known for many years already never lost an 'interest' to meet up with me whenever I'm back which makes my holidays just unforgettable!
As I'm from a small town where only my parents and family live, I have to travel to other cities in Lithuania to visit my brother and all of my friends what makes every single holidays adventurous! This time I was more than happy to try local beers in Kaunas (almost forgot how it is awesome to come to the bar and don't know which one to buy cause everything tastes just amazing. When it comes to London, usually buy the cheapest one:D), spend time in local student halls and even attend to a Lithuanian-student-accomodation party!
The best thing during the winter is definetely the fact that you are able to be surrounded by snow.. take the ice skates and go skiing on the local lakes, find the old sledges from your childhood (or just a piece of cardboard works perfectly as well) and go down from the hills or just walk around the forests and old roads with the hot tea in your hand. Never was an enthusiast about the winter, but keep missing it so much when didn't have a proper one for years!

Snowy roads and forests nearby
Enjoying winter and little cold! :}
We kept the tradition, took a bottle of champagne
and went to the old forest to share our experience!
My Little Devil doesn't look like a devil anymore
Smiles of my little hearts in between the pints :D
A moment from getting lost in the student halls:D
